Problems With Oil Pressure Gauge... Need Help!
my oil pressure gauge is acting weird. there is no consistency and it goes from a normal reading to nothing and then back to normal...how can i find out if im losing oil pressure of if its just a bad gauge...i need help im about to make a long road trip and i want to make sure everything is working properly...

Try changing you oil pressure sending unit on the side of the block. That usually does the trick.. Use teflon tape on it also...

So i got some advice and starting with the most basic fixes...first being checking the oil pressure sending unit. To my good luck the only problem was the wire was not connected completey. Thanks for the advice!!!

Yeah mine is just the same... It's all Frayed to hell so I just cut the damn thing and spliced new wire into it and then added it to my new oil gauge and no more worries
