Here's alittle video of my TT 5.0 running finally! !
Just to fore-warn, it isn't all that great, but just a small beginning of what's to come. I just recently got the car running with a MegaSquirt stand alone EMS, which needs a complete tune to be written by me in my laptop. So I finally got it idleing good and accelerating under boost, we got one little 3rd gear pull until the tires let go from about 2K rpm and let off @ 4200 rpm..... as soon as I let off due to wheelspin, I realized I toasted another alternator, so we had to head home..... let me know what you think! !

Thanks guys! I ahve not yet run it at the track, actually there isn't a track closer than 2 hours away, so I'm not sure when I will ever get to the track with this thing. I am having a very hard time keeping the tires on the ground, the tires are breaking loose under boost even in fourth gear.... not too bad of a problem to be having, but even so..... she's crazy fast! ! !

Those turbos you see are JY T3's .60/.63's from SVO mustangs. I picked them up from my local pick 'n pull for 50 bucks each. I fabricated all of the hot side exhaust headers and downpipes from scratch in my garage. I also fabricated the entire coldside piping as well. I used pre-bent exhaust tubing for both, for the headers, I purchased some unequal length headers, flipped them and modified them for the turbos....
As soon as I fix this alternator issue that I am having I will have some mroe vids of some boosted tuning runs.... so, hang on and watch this thread for some more updates...... ![]()
