DO UR HW, before u get into suspension, itll save u alot of money in the long run,

do u want to go all out and convert to coilovers or do u just wanna throw some springs/shocks and call it a day?

springs/shocks/ camber caster plates, upper and lower control arms, front strut tower brace and some good subframe connectors will deffenetly bring out handling,

buddy had full steeda suspension on his 96 GT he used to own...that thing was sick in turns...he's stopping by in a lil bit i'll ask him exactly what he had...but there is a mountain around here that we sometimes ride bikes on cause of the turns...we went up it i was in my BMW that handled like a dream and he was right on my ass

Suspension for what? Corners, or hooking off the line? Two very different things.

If you're talking about handling:

Griggs Racing is really the top dog when it comes to Mustang suspension, but they're also very pricey, no compromise parts. If you're made of money, talk to Bruce, and he'll make your car *literally* outhandle a Ferrari.

Maximum Motorsports is who I've always gone with. Their parts make for cars are still very competitive in American Iron, and you can get more street oriented parts. MM's parts are better than Steeda's products and usually cheaper.

If you want drag suspension:
Ask someone else, hahaha. I have no interest in straight-line-only cars.

Live axle. The Cobra IRS doesn't have the proper geometry.

What's swapped is the 4-link for a torque arm setup.

Here's the one of the vids for John's SN95 Cobra at a Virginia Hillclimb:
