Where is the vin on the firewall or body?

I am looking for the vin on the body or firewall to make sure that my car is legit cuz i am having trouble with the title and will go to the pre-owner if something wrong.

Did you look on the lower drivers side of the dash under the windshield? Thats where it should be, or it will also be on the sticker in the drivers side door jam

+1 should be on the driver side dash really low....you have to look through the windshield to see it. Also possibly like SMS said on the driver door or in the glove box

there are a few places to check for it i took pictures of some of the other places not mentioned before...of course door, glove box and windshield are easiest places to look but if you can't see it there here are a few pics to help point ya in the right direction.

there also another one on the back bumper but i didn't feel like jacking up the car to get under it and take a pic of it.

i know about the one on the dash but that could be easily replaced(dashboard that is). Traidmarx thankx for the pics but i dont have none of those.
I use to own lots of hondas and they had it engraved on the firewall. Thats what i kinda meant. Is there anywhere where it might be engraved??

Are you afraid that your car has been stolen and then a new VIN put on?
I have also heard it is stamped on your inner fender but you have to take the front fender of the car off to get to it...I wouldnt try and do this right away without some more research because like I said this is what I "heard"

their are metal tags under the front fender with the info on them but if i remember right you do have to take the fender off
