so after being a modular guy for a while i bought my first fox
88 LX coupe tropical yellow 1of126

cold start

previous owner took it to the track to prove its power and lets just say on motor its faster than my 01gt on spray for now im just gonna get its fixed up a bit apearence wise neeeds attention to the interior was looking but couldnt find the name of the interior color it is beige, and on 50resto the spray color they have is called sandlewood?is this correct?

lol just did cant wait to up the power, but like i said before i need to put some attention to the rest of the car, the previous owner had this vehicle as a pure drag car i cant figure out how to get my turn signals to work

I was about to claim it was a 4cly convert until I saw that line. I'll have to look through my stash of Mustang info and research that. Does it have tan interior?

well my number is wrong there were a total of 293 made and 46 were coupes so an even better number

i paid 2,800 and 700 for a built aod with 3,500stall as for under the hood i rather not go into detail much but it has a 302bottom end gt40heads and bcam carb'd i was skeptic of the numbers it would run but when we went to the track i was amazed ran faster mph and e.t than my 01gt on spray (time listed under user name)

gt40 headed with a b cam?

Stock 01 gts usually run 96mph or so.. prob 108 on spray (100 shot)... did it run 12.75 @ about 109?

i would just come out and say it but there is a few locals i wanna suprise with this car and they browse these forums

but my 01gt ran 14.21@99 and 12.90@109 and its a lil faster

Nah, the car is some were in the mid to low 12's. I know the op. For the money paid some people wouldn't even know. Nice buy buddy. But you have to get some exhaust on there.

ty nick the exhaust is spintech it was a cold start and shitty camera but i kinda like the sound of spintechs eric is trying to fix his car so we could run i need tires badly tho when i get dr's i wanna run brandun like i posted on the other site it actually ran a lil faster than we were tlaking about, bought it the next day. ima talk to jeremy and see if dennis can get anymore out of it

Thats a pretty good time (mid to low 12's) for the tires it is wearing. Good find.
