i know there crap. but is the bd-11a powerdyne worth 800$? i know some of you will say its not worth 1$ but for a quick cheap mod to a stock motor would it be worth it?!

i had a 95 bronco with a ford racing gt-40x Ford Racing Performance Parts [M-6007-XEFMS*]
crate with the powerdyne setup, i used various pulleys on it but it is worth a grand. the truck was on 8 inches of lift and 37.5x14.50s tsl's, 4.56 gears and once i added the charger it gave it a great deal of power. seat of the pants,i never got it dynoed, i always sent my computer off to sniper. nut i say there good not the best but def worth it

I read that there are people that do have them and they last for some time, but for 800 or less its cheaper then anything else i could do to make a diff.

I've never owned a powedyne supercharger and i prolly never will, so honestly I don't know. I think $800 could be spent better elsewhere or saved to buy what you want.

yeah i figured that too, because add another 2 g's and i can have a good reliable s/c.
but i wont be ready for that until the summer after next. im getting body work done and trying to get another car going for the girl. plus my bike to much for me to handle with one income!! LOL

if that is the way they treat a customer, I think that makes the decision all that much easier. Didn't see what mods you had, I would say gears and exhaust, and a few suspension upgrades would help out now and later.
