Emergency Brake

So I just bought this 85 mustang and it has a five lug conversion, Im told the rear disc brakes were from a explorer... So my problem is that the e-brake doesnt work I dont think its even there and I dont know what I need to look for.... Is there a e-brake kit I can buy from somewhere Im lost cause it has the conversion.... I can deal with it right now but its kind of annoying... Any help would be appreciated....

Look under the car and see if the E brake cables and everything is there and if the cables are still back by the rear breaks then try to decide how you can get it hooked up.But until you know what you have to work with its kinda hard to give you any answers.

Ok cool but would the cable be the same if they converted the rear end.... Even if the cable is there would it even fit up to the disc brakes.....

Its been a while, but if I remember right you need to get 93 Cobra cable (actually 3 cables all together). Could be wrong, though. Found this:

79-93 4 Lug Ford Fox Body Mustang Brake Upgrades

maybe it will help.
