8.8 rear end

Im almost done with my v8 conversion on my 93 mustang. I need to get a 8.8 rear end. Will only a 8.8 from a mustang work or are there other vehicles that i could get a 8.8 from that will bolt right up?

Maybe from a Capri, Maybe.

I just did this swap and I would just find one from a mustang, I know the explorer's had these axle's but they are a bit longer from what I hear so it would make it more difficult to swap.

Oh, And on a side note, if your pretty much stock on the 5.0 you can get away with the 7.5 for awhile.

I was running one with a intake/header/exhaust setup with not very sticky tires on the street and it worked fine.

Its a very mild build. Its a 351W bored 40 over. It has a Wolverine Cam with a little over 500 lift, Edelbrock performer RPM highrise intahe and edelbrock 750 carb, DOOE head from a 69 Mustang.
