Upgrading my ignition system...

I have a '87 lx with a '91 5.0 engine in it.
I'm looking to upgrade my ignition and have hear MSD is the way to go.
What parts am I looking for to complete to upgrade.
I'm not looking for the absoulute best and most expensive, but I want something good.
My price max is about $5-600.

What can i do with this guys???

i personally like jacobs electronics & the make a kit that is specifically designed for the 5.0 mustang & everything is plug & play. they are a GREAT ignition company & i have used their ignitions on most of the cars i've owned including my mustang!!

the whole kit comes w/ ignition box w/ plug & play wiring, high performance coil, & all your spark plug wires! it's a great kit..
