1988 Mustang GT Convertible Heater Core


My uncle just gave me a 1988 Mustang GT Convertible its automatic... And it needs a new heater core I would just like to know which one I would get either this one OEM#88919089 or this one OEM#88919094? Any Help would be appreciated Thanks

go to 5.0 resto and get the durable replacement one that will last forever because you only want to do it once

After posting one already about this for the 20 buck heater core... I have to say that TurboLX is right, you really want to do it once. Don't fall for the one year warranty crap. Just like my dad's starter, you'll be replacing it once a year and changing a heater core once a year is something I ain't doing.

If there was a triple platinum heater core with chrome and steel all around it, and it didn't cost me $700 I would get it LOL

+1 find the ford one. I bought a diffrent one from autozone and it was light but it was a pos. the heavyduty original ford is the way to go.

If you are doing this yourself you will learn some new cusswords. my new words was clusterfuckinnutbuster. My finger was in the steering column brace. its definently a 30 packbeer job
