LED bulbs behind the gauges


How all have replaced the org bulbs with leds and do you have pic.

work on that english

but just take the bulbs out and replace with the wide white 194 LED's

white. the tint on the gauge face is blue, when the yellow light passes through it turns green. when you use pure white light (led) its blue through the gauge face

Interesting. Never knew that.

I have always wanted the stock gauges but with a red tint. Been scared to though because I am sure I would screw something up.

That and I would have to somehow get rid of the blue tint.

zatrekaz i think is his username, he made a thread about doing red gauges in the electronics section, not sure how it turned out but you could look into that.

looks good mxnate, do you have a link for the led's? I would love to do this to my stang!
only thing i dont like about it is that 2k rpm and 90 mph look a little too bright. other than that it looks great!

i dont think that guy used the right type of bulb, your supposed to use the refractor type like the ones in the link, the price is for 100 bulbs so dont be freaked out by it.

look around on ebay for 194 led theres tons on there. and im not sure how many are in the stock cluster, around ten probably, its not to hard to take it out and check

i would do it and write up a tutorial but im broke, and i have other probs to address on my car then the dash lights
