Another opinion question
Well since there are a lot of opinion questions floating around, i thought i would ask mine.
On a good day, what could this run in the 1/4? 5.0 AOD with a valve body, 2200-2800 TC, 4:30s, u/d pullies, Mac Longtubes and o/r H with flows, and slicks. Probably launching at about 1500 or a little more. I have heard mid 13s on a good day, but i really do not know what a good day is! Another question! Is there any advantage of running down the track without a belt? |

advantage of no belt...maybe 5hp across the rpm range. disadvantage...pushing your car up to the line. i wouldn't bother |

Thanks Tengram, I heard about the belt thing awile back and was just a little curious about it. I think i will pass on taking it off.
Anybody else think these numbers are reasonable?
