i recently got an 86 convertible gt and was wondering what it takes to switch it to the 87 front end and 140 mph dash. I was also wondering about some quick and easy power adders too. I have a cold air intake, exhaust, and a 3.73 posi rear end. Maybe a 5 lug conversion too.

Please.. please, dont The 4 eye is a great look, and theres not as many around as the 87-93. I had an 85, that i sold to get my 91, although i dont regret getting my 91, i really wish i could have held onto the old 4 eye. If you really like the 87 newer front then buy an 87 and newer, and let some one else injoy your 4 eyed beauty. But if your dead set on doing the swap, then save every part so you pass it on to some one else, A few months ago there were two guy that had 86 and old mustangs with the newer front clip, and they were looking to swap back, so maybe sell that shit in the classifieds. Good luck with, ill keep my fingers crossed that you dont do it
