had to use my vacation time before the year was over, so yeah im off almost a week with no plans. Me and chris pulled some gt40s and an exploder intake off a truck today in the junkyard, maybe i should throw them on my truck

we ripped out the wheel wells and it made life soooo much easier, the truck we were pulling them off of was 4wd though, and they werent p's, dunno if theres a difference. We never really got stuck at any point, just not having tools made it so much harder than it could have been

I was at my local U-pull yard the other day and they had a ton of V-8 explorers there.. They are all part of the cash for clunkers so there will be a flood of gt-40 stuff hitting the used parts section soon.. I just dont have the time to go pull it all myself..

na dude they pour this shit in the motors thats basically liquid glass, after they drain the oil, so none of it really makes it up into the heads. Well it didnt make it into the heads i got, they look completely normal

oh and the motors usually seize before it really has a chance to overheat enough to warp some cast heads, my friend work at a dealership and he said most of them seize pretty dam quick
