Also Sean, I'm sure I asked this before but are you going with a mild steel or chromoly cage? and are you tubbing the car?

that was actually my next question. also how is it supported from the bottom? i guess i just need to do it so i can see for myself to see how much i can actually do.

i am not sure what steel he is using. he told me it will be able to be certed to 8.50 if i wished to do so. but it can do 10.0 with no cert and its not gonna go that fast for a while.

and no it will not be hot pink cause if i drive it and i get beat by a street car then it will be really embarrising..

Yeah, my dash is still off. It's got the 2 bolts/screws on the side, the 5 or so on top and the center console helps support it too.

its getting a halo it is a six point then it has the hoop that goes around the roof and 2 bars that go down the pillar to where the firewall floorboard and kickpanel meet. i am still undecided on if i want snouts or not yet it depends on the $$$ situation.

snouts go from the front pillar bars through the firewall and strut tower then connect to the front frame rail at the bottom of the fender walls. i have decided not to do them cause i am shaving the engine bay.

Ohhhhh, OK... yeah I decided against them as well. I actually just bought a set of the inner fender covers that someone posted a link for in here a few pages back. Are you painting the cage or are they? what color?
ohhhh through floor subframes, nice.
