Here's the real video I made, for Flowmaster's competition (they never emailed me back tho....hmmmm). Check it out:
Exhaust:
old Hedman Hedders Longtubes
3in true dual custom midpipe (no cats)
Flowmaster 40s dumped before the rear axle

Engine:
e-cam? (don't think so, it only lopes a little at 800rpm)
Trick Flow upper and lower intake
stock heads? the previous owner said trick flow but I don't think so.
throttle body
aluminum racing radiator and electric fan
under drive pulley

Honestly do you notice any power differance between stock and what you have now?

No idea because I didn't do those mods. I bought the car like that. But I got the tires loose in the top of 2nd....it pulls really really hard at high rpms. Otherwise I doubt it. I assume that post was sarcastic, and I think the gains were from the longtubes and the catless straight pipes if anything.

Haha my bad dude. Thought you were bustin my balls. But yeah it definitely has a ton of pull at high rpm....which is a known effect of long tubes. They also sound sick. Pulling the cats nets like 5-10hp, straight pipes a few more, and supposedly a good set of longtubes can put you up 20 more. So that adds up to like a 35hp increase in the top end....which I could definitely feel. Long tubes are great, I say do it. But a 351w makes way more power stock haha so its a tough decision....depends on how much youre willing to sacrifice mpg for performance, and how much that 351 is setting you back ;-)

hmm, I would love to put the lightnings powerplant in my 89 gt. with all my mini projects I have going, doing a motor swap isn't even a thought right now lol

Just Headers

For those who enjoy the sound of a V8 with no headers, I took a quick vid of my build before I take it to the muffler shop this weekend, where it will get an H-Pipe and set pair of Flowmaster 40's.

1965 Coupe w/ 1979 351w.
COMP CAMS 35-600-4
Stock Heads
Summit Stage II intake
Summit Street and Strip 750 CFM carb.
Hedman 351w swap headers.

I'll post another vid once the pipes and muffler go on.
