i had a friend that had a tunnel ram on a 84 mustang gt,he was running 2 350cfm carbs and had some aftermarket heads and that was plenty of carb for the motor,he also had 3;55s he was running in the 11s

obviously these "HUGE" cams you run aren't doing the trick. I would definately start by looking into a set of heads.
I would buy a nice set of tires and a clutch with that 500. |

your car has the power it needs to hit 12.9's all day take your money and by cheater slicks. your problem isnt power[no offense] but your driving is off, your probally getting 2.6-2.4 60' times and only getting high 13's because of your mph
like i said just get cheater slicks or mickey thompson drag radials 275/50/15 even with a 2.0 u can hit a 12.9 with 106 trap speed if you practice you can run low low 13s on street tires i also ran a 13.1@109 with 245/17's with a 2.0 60'

Why is that funny? Yall are freaking stupid.
My drag strip is at like 5000 ft. Of cousre I'm gonna run slower time than you sea level homo's. I think 93Mustank is just butt hurt cause a 17 year old kid has a fast car. Get over it dude. DURING THE MILE HIGH NATIONALS: air temperature 74 degrees, relative humidity 47 percent, barometer 24.41 inches, altitude 5,806 feet, track temperature 74 degrees. Higher altitude means less oxygen. Less oxygen means less fuel. Less fuel means SOLWER TIMES!

What is your hole set up, and your 60 ft time. The hole thing sounds a little off.
2 4bbl carbs stock heads heavy vert 13.99 @106 mph = launch or driver trouble b/c 106 mph means you have power more so then a 13.99

Sorry guys (88-Gt-T-top & Sleeper Stang) I dont take kindly to trash talk. I just get frustraited and start hitting people.
M L Struck: I had some really sh*tty street tires on when I ran my 3 runs at H.S. drags. Its a stick so I have a little trouble speed shifting but not bad. I have a terrible reaction time too, like .679avg. Also the car deosn't reach very high rpms, like 4600-4800 at the end of the run. I've ran the car 3 times. The first two runs were 14.11@100 & 14.4@99 approx. The last run (my best run) was a 13.99@106.47 R/T was 0.698 and my 60' 2.562.

don't forget to use synthetic blinker fluid.. it'll save weight and find that hidden horsepower
