Gives you another 50,000 blinks between fluid changes.

On a more serious note, I'd suggest taking a step back from throwing parts at the car, and understand WHY the parts you're using do or don't work together. The whole thing is a system and everything needs to be done in balance. It does you absolutely no good to have 1000cfm of flow at the carb if your intake can only flow 500cfm, and it does you absolutely no good to make 1000hp if you can only hook up with 250.

huge cam is not always the "best" cam your cam needs to be the last thing you buy/put on the car. Like someone else mentioned it basically ties everything together. It sounds like you are just throwing mismatched parts (the biggest of everything you can find) at the car and expecting it to run great. In reality you need to just slow down save a little money and get the "RIGHT" parts to make a good combo....you are trying to dump a shit load of gas through those huge carbs, and your heads are restricting the hell out of your setup. I would save up and get a good set of heads, go down to a single carb, and talk to jay allen Camshaft Innovations - Home about grinding you a cam or if not go with a smaller off the shelf cam like maybe a TF stage 1 or something....

I'm i the only one that thinks that 2 600cfm carbs on a 302 is twice as big as need? Everyone is talking about the BIG cam, but dual 600s is first thing he needs to get off of is motor.

wow. Ok. well I'll look into the X-pipe thing.

I know a guy here in denver who has two 850's on his 572 Big Block and another guy who has two deamon 1050's on his 603 chevy. I was just going to copy them since they're so fast. I figured two carbs are better then one. I mean I dont know shit about how to go fast, I'm 17? So I just copied the guys who do go fast!

But I guess that doesn't work for a street car. You have to have your motor built to run two big carbs I guess.

Here's their cars.

(Marks 1968 Camaro 603 Chevy 1000HP) Dont know if 1000HP is accurate but ???

Well h*ll man, I dont have anyone to help/tell me about this stuff, I just kinda look at what other people do and try to do it on my car. No body in the muscle car scene respects a 17yo and not a one wants to take em under their wing and show em what to do. I seen two carbs make a 8sec pass and I thought two carbs was the way to go. Sh*t I had a tunnel ram and two 650's on the car before I even had plans to do anything else. Talk about slow/overkill! A stock 302 with a tunnel ram & 650's
