Doing a couple things to the stang soon


Just bought this Explorer GT40 Intake today and getting these valve covers for christmas. I will be installing them after the new year and I am pretty excited about it!!!!
Going to paint the upper/lower before installing





Just incase you have not seen the engine bay...here is what it looks like now

you have a clean engine bay in that fox.

what color are you painting the intake?

have you considered powdercoating the intake manifold?

+1 I would get it powder coated for sure. Do it right the first time.

I will be painting the intake the same color as the stock one I have on there now which is a high heat silver I bought from Discount Auto

Didn't really clean it too much...just took a lot of the parts off and reapinted them. Also replaced a few things like the coolant overflow tank, battery, distributor boot etc.

Dont think I am going to powdercoat it as it will not match the other accessories like the A/C compressor, alternator, brakes lines that I painted.

i painted my whole motor with the silver and black high temp engine paint from autozone and it looks great and is still holding strong

how do you keep parts from getting dirt on it I really want to clean my AC compressor how do I do that. do I sandblast it

Drive it once a month, and keep on cleaning/repainting.
