preping my 92 gt for paint


Okay, i have justa sanded my very dull factory paint job with 180 grit and then 220 grit. what would be the last step before i have it primed? should i just use a wet 320 and be done?

no need to wet sand,are you going back with the same color? If your paint is on the car and just dull not flaking, I wouldn't prime, just rough up and shoot. The oem paint is all the primer you need.

yes iam using the same black color. i am not looking for a show qaulity paint job, just something that looks decent. so should i sand with finer then 220 grit for the paint. what type of paint would be best?

jump up to 320 or 400 thats what we finished ours with
