strokers explained??

can one of you guys explain to me what is involved in making a stroker motor? is it "simply" increasing the stroke or does it also involve have the block punched out? or does it depend on how radical you want to go.....306 is just a longer stroke while 331/347 also includes increased bore size??? i see in the different kits that they include a new crank, pistons, rings and bearings. what else would need to be changed?

306 is .030 over and the 347 and 331 are both based off of the same bore, they just use different strokes to achieve the cubes....Just about everything needs to be changed if you go with a stroker if you want to get the most out of it, HCI, fuel system, supporting mods, etc.
