fog light question


it never ends, so i ordered new fog lights my car didnt have them from the preivous owner. I dont know why but there is only one wiring coming from the plug. the other is cut and i dont see it in the harness can i just ground this wire? or what do i need to fix this. thanks

guy I bought my car from said that the foglights on Fox GT's suck because the wire harness burns up...somthing about too thin of guage wire...he says the best way to get them right Is to re-wire them...havent even used mine because Im afraid they will burn up!

I never had any problem with the fog lights or the harness on my 92 GT & I used them all the time at night for years.

I may have the plugs/wiring you're talking about, but without being able to see it it's hard to know for sure.

After re-reading the OP are you saying that one of the wires from the back of the fog light plug(wich plugs to the bulb) is missing a wire? or only has one runing to it(the back of the plug)? to fix this you need to trace that wire back into the harness and extend it to the plug somehow. Thats if I read/understand you correctly
