well a bit to late for that, I already installed the 190 lph, I could be wrong but isnt that plenty of pump for a natural asp motor?

Yeah, it should be enough for what you have, its just nice to have some growing room for the same price

RE
Ha,
Well thanks, I am trying to get things straightened out, it runs much better, I guess it runs what one should run like given the mods that have been done, its no space shuttle but its fun. I am going take it to the dyno shop pretty soon to get it tuned. |

Im going to say your tune is what is holding you back now. A stock 5.0 tune will work - but is far from efficient for a 331. Prob going very lean right now.

re
I had a good friend drive it today as well, the car used to be a 306 with a 125 shot. He claims is runs much much stronger than the 306, possibly as strong as the 306 with the 125 shot, I dont know if i would go that far but It the more I drive it the more I am impressed by it, even with all the suspension mods to make the car hook I am having major traction probelms. In 2nd gear you really have to feather the throttle or the tires are going up in smoke. On another note, I have an Extra brand new 331 level 20 DSS block I need to dump any ideas where to market this block guys? I am getting rid of the single chamber Flowmasters and dumps tomorrow and going for 2 chambers and exhaust out the back (the stock look and sanity inside the car)
Thanks Last edited by real57vetteguy; November 30th, 2009 at 10:41 PM. |
