iso or duct tape


im planning on installing my suspension satruday im going to wrap the spring tops and bottoms with a few passes of duct tape this should be fine correct from what ive read?

I put my isos back on recently and taped them. It didnt work too long. I'm having to put new isos in this weekend. try it though if your feeling it.

Sounds very ghetto. I don't imagine it will have much long lasting effect on NVH, but go for it.

You're going to end up spending more time taking the springs out and putting isos in after the tape wears out. If you're going to do a job, do it right the first time.

electric tape is what me and my boyfriend used, i sold my car after 3 months and it was still working, hes going on about 4-5 months with no noises

Just don't get the urethane isolators because they'll raise the ride height a little. I replaced my factory ones with factory ones because they lasted 20 years

bought isos today poly the rubber oem ones are like 130 dollars from ford. got mine for 50 dollars
