Tokico HP series shocks... so impressed!

So I got a pair from AmericanMuscle, and I have to say, these outperformed my expectations by miles. I bought them, only hoping that my ride would be a little nicer when hitting the speed bumps and my car wouldn't crash down so hard.

It ended up being much more than that. It feels like it isn't even the same car. I have never been so impressed by something so simple that I've done to this vehicle. Upon accel it seems to pick up a little quicker and smoother, cornering is drastically improved, and driving at highway speeds is comfortable now. Before the car seemed to vibrate all over, and I hated it, but now, it's almost perfect.

I haven't done anything else to the suspension, but for $89... I don't think I've ever been more impressed before. So I know there's a more expensive brand I could have gone with, but gosh damn, I'm just so happy. These shocks kick the crap out of the 17 year old stock ones.

Needed to put that out there.

No, I only bought the 2 rears. The front struts were a little bit more than I was able to spend.

Yeah, it's amazing how bad blown shocks can make a car feel, and how much better brand new shocks feel in comparison.

You'll probably blow a gasket when you get your new struts, hahaha.

Nice! Yeah those are fantastic bang-for-your-buck shocks. Wait until you get the front struts, then you will be even more amazed!
