restoring quarter window molding

I have searched and couldn't really dig anything up. Is there a thread or site that shows what people do to restore their quarter window moldings. I could do the trial and error deal but would like to see what I am about to tackle. I figure filler primer, sand, paint and time but nothing in life is that easy.

Thanks

I did mine years ago. Worked pretty good. I can't remember the exact process. Got how-to out of muscle mustangs & fast fords from around 1995-6 or so. I do remember using black bumper coating and masking off the windows. Also remember using 400 grit wet sandpaper and using some type of filler, maybe similar to what you said in your post, but can't remember the other details of what I did. Hope this helps if you attempt the trial and error method.
