Performance suspension
Im going to replace the rack n pinion and it calls for with or without performance suspension. I really doubt it matters, but how do I tell? Is there an RPO code or VIN digit. I think I should be able to use either one. The only difference I noted was the ratio. One was 20:1 and the other was 15:1. Obvioulsy Id like to put the faster ratio on.
TIA

It's referencing it as a factory option? I've never heard of that outside of the SVOs, where it still wasn't an option.
Maybe it's the difference between GT and LX suspension (which I thought was just spring rates)? Or V8 and I4 suspension (again, which I thought was just spring rates)?
