my car ran fine a month ago the only changes then was I installed a boost gauge and unplugged the fpr and plugged it into the 3 way vaccum fitting and the vaccum fitting goes in to the gauge and the other side of the fitting goes into the fpr and the manifold

check your fuel pressure, did you hold your foot in it so it warms up? or just stop after it died a few times?

Ford Fuel Injection » How To Run a Self-Test

I'd hook a fuel pressure gauge up to the rail and see what kind of pressure your getting. Did you install the fuel filter backwards? did you install the sock right on the pump?

Did you mess with the timing at all?

no the fuel filter was put on right

I'm not sure what pressure I'm reading my engine would bog to hard to warm the motor up.
and the strainer is on the pump
