EGR problem

Ok i dont have an EGR system it was completely eliminated because of my 351 heads. My check engine light stays on because of it and i've had it cleared before then the light is back again. Is there any way to stop the light from coming on, some way to bypass it, or to trick the computer that its there lol. Thanks for any advice.

You need to have it turned of in the pcm. either w/ a tweecer or other tuning device. Until the value in the pcm is turned off you will continue to get the CEL. The other method is to rig the plunger on the egr so its halfway down this will fool the pcm into thinking its functioning correctly and you wount get a CEL.
