which rotating assembly should i get?

hey, building a 331... well actualy a 336? it will be .040 because it was already .030 over and it needs to be straightened. so exactly what the title says, which one did you buy and why.. and did you like it? what kinda power did you build with it and is it N/A?

I went forged crank. SRP pistons , eagle rods 1.6 cobra rockers, all good stuff. Also had 15hrs into head porting and only produced 341 rwhp my mistake was the cam, I left alot of power in that block. so do your homework!

Put your asbestos underwear on, man; you're gonna get hammered with "go 347" posts.

Just curious, but why did you chose 331 over 347? All I hear here is the pro-347 propaganda, it'd be nice to hear the logic from the other side.

Why does everyone assume that if you ask about something you did that you're gonna argue with them that they're wrong?

:facepalm

Dude, I don't have a position to defend.

I looked over your arguments in another thread, though. What I saw amounted to basically "I was told it was better by some engine builders and machinists".

Being that I've got my answer, I'll leave your thread alone now

see there goes more ignorance... and i hurd eagle is junk. i talked to my engine builder and he has had eagle cranks with 2 and 3 different rod journal sizes. and not just one, but a handful of eagle cranks he said. so i was thinking scat. i was on stage 3 motorsports and see their 331 street fighter kit. it showed the highest compression ratio i have seen yet. 10.1:1. im looking to make 10.5:1 but with twisted wedge heads its ganna be tough.

If you already have your mind made up why are you here? Sounds like you're here to argue.....Mr I don't want to argue....

I would strongly suggest finding a new machine shop/engine builder because if this guy thinks Eagle is junk and 347 have wrist pin issues and burn oil then he obviously isn't even worth the gas you spent driving there.

and do you know what ignorance is? it is lacking knowledge or awareness if my education serves me correctly, so unless you give a valid argument so show that you actually know what your talking about instead of "my super duper godly engine builder and friend told me this, this, and this" then you are the ignorant one

Why are you going .030 to .040 over?
