You will be fine the sending unit and pump pick up are two seperate pieces in the tank. The sender is located to the left of the pick up when your looking at the tank.

The sending unit is located at the CENTER the EFI pickup is on the RIGHT. You need to buy an aftermarket pickup of course... DO NOT USE YOUR STOCK EFI PUMP WITH A REGULATOR.... DOES NOT WORK, YOU WILL FLOOD YOUR CARB!

You can use the stock pump with the proper regulator but why would you want to use a stock pump? I would sump the stock tank instead of running one of those stupid pick up tubes that go in place of the stock pump. Those drop in pick ups don't allow the pump to be gravity fed and electric pumps should always be gravity fed.

Also, let me revise my post.... You CAN use the stock pump, but be ready to return your gas back to the tank by using an FPR with two outlets. One for carb, the other to return excess gas. But Goes back to Darrells.. Why would you use the stock pump
