MM road and track box, Anybody got this setup???
Hello, im fairly new to the Mustang scene. I just traded a 95 M3 for an 89 GT. I am planning on doing a suspension upgrade to the car soon. Id like to make it comparable to the M3 suspension. After doing some research i came to find Maximum Motorsports kits. And im looking at the Road and Track box kit. I tried looking for some reviews, and searching some forums but couldnt come up with to much info on the kit. My main questions are what does the car handle like with this kit? Is it worth it to buy the kit, or would I be better off just piecing something together. My goal is to be able to take this thing to the track and Auto-X it. I will also be using this same setup for days at the strip, will it hook up enough to make good times? Wheels im gonna be running are 18 x 10 Magnesium Speedline(Saleen) with a set of Kuhmo Ecsta's. The kit is pretty pricey but seems like it comes with everything needed to do a complete suspension overhaul/ upgrade. Oh BTW my car has 380rwhp and a 150shot of nitrous. The P.O. told me he ran 11.5 in the qtr. Will the suspension work for that kind of hp at the track?
here is the link to the kit: http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...?idproduct=191 |

Man, just my opinion but, I would think that you could piece that kit together for far less.

true, I bet all together, if tou figure shipping on each part it would be close. Unless you have a really good parts store nearby. Around me I have a parts store that stocks everything, man its so nice their warehouse is about 6 blocks from thsir store, and they have reasonable prices. so I save lots of shipping cost just going there.
