Vibration
I replaced my u-joints in april and still had a vibration after that. Well, I bought some pony rims with tires and it made it alot better because the old tires on my 10 holes were dry rotted and out of round. But now I still have a vibration at like 65mph. It's not steady but it wurrrrrs... idk how to explain it. My girlfriends dad said my u joints were bad while he was moving my driveshaft which i guess is not supposed to move at a stop lol. But also, when I'm cruising in 5th on the highway and I let off the gas abruptly, there's a loud bang noise and it jerks the car kinda. Should I just replace the u joints again?

Okay, u-joints. Pull your drive shaft and have it balanced. Check your rear-end yoke, rear gear slack, and transmission output bearing (will cause your 'bang', also). Aside from being with the car, that's what I can think of.

if your vibe is at 65, it may be a wheel balance issue. will the vibe be gone above 75? i had this problem and it was the wheel balance. i am doing u joints today though because they are making grinding kind of vibe.
also, if your vibe is of a higer frequency it is the drive shaft. if it is a lower frequency, it is a wheel. |

could be alignment slightly off, 1-4 wheels off balanced, drive shaft, or just the fact the fact the cars old as fuck and falling apart

Did you have the wheels/tires speed-balanced?

Just BARELY. When you get the driveshaft balanced, have the yokes checked for true. I've seen folks spring the yokes changing u-joints.
