You wont need pushrods with the stock cam and gt40ps. And ive never heard of someone buying a pushrod guide plate

Thank-you for the response. I'm glad I can use the 1.7's with no problems.. I should just have my machine shop install new/better springs when I bring my heads in for a checkup before installing..
