Question: I am trading my harley for a 1990 GT with a 331 stoker is that a good deal?
Well its a 90 silver gt with Black interior; 331 stroker with GT40 ford racing heads edlebrock intake, 75mm bbk throttle body, a procharger lots of other stuff to list.... my harley is a 1998 dyna low rider that has everything chromed... the car is in the exceptionally clean area and has been well takin care of...

I wouldn't make that trade. Your bike has to be at least worth 10 grand, with 10 in todays market there are some really nice buys,a 90 model GT with a 331 with exploder heads doesn't warrant 10 grand in my books. I have been out of the states for quite some time so I dont know what Harleys are bringing right now but I just sold a night train for 14,000 with no problems.
got any pics of the bike?

I would do it. That bike aint worth 10g's I am seeing them for 4-5 grand.
Its all on you, if you are over that bike and really want a 5.0 its a deal. 95stang was right about those heads and what not, but thats something you could change that would help that motor out alot. If you have more info please post it about the 5.0 like suspension and exhaust etc.

Nice to hear. I am getting rid of my ninja cause I dont ride it and I'm putting that money into the stang. I figured if I want a bike again they are always around and usually cheap.

What do you value that bike at?
I'd probably do the trade if the body is clean and sound on that gt. The gt40 heads are probably of the y or x fashion which are fords alluminum aftermarket heads. There good heads, solid but don't flow as much as the higher $ heads out there of course but there's nothing wrong with them. Sounds like the car has allot going, punched out to 331 with all the bolt ons plus a procharger? the car should be a fun time just check it over real good during the day. Take it for a spin and get on it. Let it idle for a while while you bs and look things over and see if she has cooling issues, leaks etc. good luck |
