93 Gt 5.0 5sp
Help please......
I have this 5.0, and am getting an airbag light blink code...It blinks twice, then four times...? I was told by a couple people those are engine codes, and others say it is strictly an airbag code.... I am unfamiliar! Can anyone tell me ( Professionally speaking), what exactly this code indicates please??? MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL! |

check engine light blinks engine related codes. i'm not sure how to troubleshoot your airbags. i have an 88 ad it doesn't have one. i do know that you probably have 2 accelerometers installed. one of them is bolted to your upper radiator support. i dont know where the other one is. on my taurus, there is one on the rad support and one on the fire wall. once you find the one on the rad support, you will know what it looks like in order to find the other one. the first step i would take is disconnecting the batt and cleaning out the connectors of those accelerometers.

Help
I appreciate the help guys, but to Dennislv....I went to the link site, and it does not list the 93' would I use the 92' or the 95' and up????? To Jessemachone, Thanks for the Holiday greetings, and I will seek those out tomorrow! Thanks to you both again!

BTW the airbag system consists of 2 teal green boxes behind the dash... 1 directly behind the radio is the controller... The other is behind the dash pad, about 6" to the right of the middle air vents... The sensors are behind the grille area, in front of the radiator, next to the headlights... Theyre square black boxes, about 4" long (you'll only really see the top of them)...
