Missing
I have a 1989 Mustang GT with a fuel injected 306 with an e303 cam. Sometimes while driving, it will act like it is missing and if i give it a lot of gas it will stop. In fifth gear on the interstate it won't stop once it starts, when i give it gas it will backfire slightly. I changed out the fuel filter and put fuel system cleaner but it didn't help. Does anybody know what i can try next? Thanks.

checked the plugs yet? plugs will tell you alot about how the engine is running.
