Cons: price and not really needed.

Pros: better tire clearance, adjustable ride height, and adjustable dampening (in some).

I am thinking that you will have to reinforce the mounting point on the body. I could be wrong but that will be a lot of weight suspended at such a small mounting point on the body.

yes for the rear coilover setup the kit comes with a reinforcement piece, because the factory setup its not designed to take all that weight, the spring and control hold most of the weight, You can use bilstein and koni shocks with coilovers in rear, there are prolly more u can use but those are the ones off the top of my head

rear coil overs isn't popular with street driven mustang owners.. not really sure why and never looked into the cons because i'll never pick them up because there not really needed and having all the tension on the top mounts doesn't sound nice to me.

The shock towers can handle the weight no prob. The little bracket on the 8.8 needs to be replaced or reinforced.

main con is price and not really needed

main pro is adjustability. Also it allows you to run a dual heim joint lower control arm without a spring perch. The dual heim joint control arm allow much more articulation of the axle so it will perform much better without any suspension bind. However, running a antiroll bar with this setup is highly recommended for drag racing.

Just doing this setup myself, so I've done a bit of research on it.

The strange coil over kit is a pretty good deal. The complete setup with aluminum body adjustable shocks is around $400. With dual adjustable shocks $600
