radio hvac gauge pod from american muscle


has anyone used this product from american muscle?

i was wondering how people like it..i heard that u lose the lighting on the hvac controls tho is this true?

i have one. ill go snag a pic for you in a few. you lose the lighting for hvac, but if you really need it back you can put a 6in flexible neon strip from o'rielly below it and that will work. thats what i used for a while

it fits good if you dont have a hacked up center console like i did(mostly from trying to make my own panel)

the hvac control lighting really isnt that big of a deal. maybe its just me but i hardly ever touch it, and i remember where all the stuff is

and my temp control knob broke i havent fixed it yet

are your gauges easy to read while driving, i have 2 mounted in my heater vent, but i was looking for something a little cleaner looking like this radio gauges hvac kit...plus it raises the radio higher

the only cutting that had to be done was a plastic cross piece to get the gauges in. gauges are real easy to read day or night. and it puts the radio at perfect height to adjust with your hand on the shifter

awesome..i think i might go ahead and spring for this..to bad its 85 bucks lol..plus gauges...i was looking into getting the glowshift gauges becaues i like the coloring of them and they are rather cheap..and pretty accurate from what i can find out. just have to make sure they are the right size

52mm is right around 2 1/16 which fits in there

i checked on a mm to inches conversion site..its ends up being 2.0 something or other inches..im just afraid they will be to small and all thro the holes

2" is 50.8mm so if they are 52mm they are 2.0787" so they should be fine, given that the panel has cutouts for 2" gauges.
