That is a crazy expensive, yet totaly awsome mod. Fresh quarter moldings look so good.

I didn't know they had any left we got a set a few years back for a customers car we painted it was a hatch though and they said they was getting low on supply may be they found a batch in a warehouse or some thing. Great thing to do it made the car we did look like new again and saved us a ton of time not having to fix the old ones. now just keep them slimed up and don't keep the car out side and they will last a few years.

There are individuals now that will refurbish old ones for about $100 and they look brand new.

Amen or you can do them yourself for less then that, and alot of time. I dont know how well they come out tho, But damn close to new!

I'm converting my 86 so i didnt' have any to restore. I tried looking for a set but seems like everyone want's too much for a set. I'm not about to play russian roulette and buy some from someone half way across the country. Closest i've gotten was a set of 1/4s i got out of a coupe i bought for parts and i started restoring the moldings but the glass itself is pretty scratched up.

they told me the same thing about a year or so ago. maybe they have in stock now. did they say anything to you about there stock when you ordered your set ?

I ordered them thru their website so i didn't actually talk to anyone. I saw where they claimed to have a limited number and i'd seen a few pics from someone on another site who'd ordered them and they looked really good so i figured i'd better jump on them before they sold out.

I know when i seen some used they were a bout 300$ on ebay, and like you said that's a gamble.

Hopefully I'll get my car back from the painters on tuesday, I'll put the windows, lights and interior back in then snap a few shots if anyone cares to see them .
