2.3 to 5.0 EFI swap
Okay...this is a long post so please bear with me. Newb has searched and spent hours with this topic and my question still hasn't been answered. I have a 1990 4 banger and I'm trying to upgrade to the 5.0. Computer has been swapped along with the wiring harness. I took the wiring harness from under the hood and was wondering if I have to change the harness under the dash. Also, is the Painless Wiring Harness as painless as they say or do I have to add extra wire or take wire out? Thanks in advance for your advice.[/i][/b]

Hey bro, I have one such vehicle. '88 Body '91 Drivetrain. I didn't do the swap, and it came from S Carolina. I live in Kansas City. I have NO idea who did it, but it seems to be a fairly good swap.
Painless should offer a harness, or an adapter to make the 2 work in union w/ one another. It's a fairly common swap. Good luck dude
