stuck lifter

ok so after getting the u/d pullies on and tinkering with the jetting on the carb the car died, started it back up and a knocking, pulled the driver side valve cover off and the 2nd lifter fron the front of the motor stuck, its a intake lifter, so whats the smart choice here buy a whole set of lifters and replace them all or just one, and how in the hell can i tell what cam i have since the douche bag who sold me the car did not know, i also need to get off my ass and get a exact year on the motor and tranny since they both have been changed out, the car is a 83 but motor i dont know, in the future there are plans of new heads and cam but nothing at the moment, i need the suspension replaced first before i add anymore to the motor

you might as well put all new lifters in. Is your car a 5 speed? make sure you do subframe connectors and rear control arms and dont forget the rear end housing bushings

Yeah but I read on how they mod the stock lifters to take that abuse... Its not like they just throw in stock lifters and rev them to 8 grand. And I am willing to bet they change those fuckers after a few runs or so...
