wow, u guys are really that scared of doin top speed runs, u find a highway and go see what u can do, its not the end of the world. and taking the pic was a joke, but i wouldnt mind seeing that needle at 160. im building this car to race, not to pussy foot around and think i look cool cuz i have a fox. Race! thats what im spending all this money and time working on her, to prep for racing, street/strip/autocross/road racing etc etc im going to have fun with this car

How fast have you been in a stock bodied fox? I will make a guess and say not that fast. Stock bodied LX with good suspension feels ok up to about 130 after that it starts getting a bit loose. If the car was built for road racing then it would handle the speed much better. At that speed aero and down force is more of a concern than suspension. No matter how good the suspension is you move that fast in a car with the drag coef of a fox and you will realize why we say this. This is also why most people that start running those kind of speeds on a strip start shopping for wings.

And if you want to do 160 on the interstate just let me know what states you are visiting so I can gtfo of that state.

I had my completely stock 91 up to about 135 once on a bare two lane road through some sugar cane fields. It was very "uncomfortable" to say the least. Stopping it was no easier. I'll never do that again. People do it at the track all the time on bouncing slicks and skinnies so it is possible but probably not with stock suspension

I'm not gonna lie, but I have topped out pretty much everything that I have owned in the past, including my 900rr. Though I am now 30 years old, I would say I have grown up alot and realize that there is more to life. I have had every fox I have ever owned topped out, including the same one I own now, but 5 years ago when I bought it. I also smoked the clutches for O/D in the automatic that used to be in it, before the t5 swap. Not only is it a hazard for you, but for others as well. You can't turn quick enough at those speeds. On my 900rr, I came up to a person over a slight hill walking on the highway, and thankfully they were far enough off to the side, cuz I passed them at 170+. High speed runs are fun ONLY if done in a controlled environment. I urge you to think twice. Had that walker been on the roadway, or any animal came out, I wouldn't be here to share my story. Besides, your dick doesn't get any bigger going Stupid Fast on public roads.
