180 mph speedo
does anyone know where i can get a 180mph speedo for my 1988 mustang gt? i want it to look like the stock 85mph one. ive looked everywhere and im not having any luck!!!!

never seen a 180mph stock cluster, seen a 160mph that EscortSportage got on here from a 90 Notch police interceptor, but never seen 180mph. dont know if they even make one could be wrong tho.

theres a mustang on ebay right now that has one in it and he says its a bbk speedometer and i looked on bbks website and cant find it. i sent him that question and he hasnt responded??? i didnt know they made them either till i saw his and now i think i need one!!!

But the car wont ever touch 120, let alone 180. Well what ever keeps the boat floating.

Ok what year was the car you seen it in? Cause i found one for the 79-86 (out of a capri) but not for the 87+

ssp's came with 160, saleen made 200 but that's about it... I believe you can get speedhut to make you whatever you want but it'll cost some coin to get the speedo calibrated.
all in all not a simple plug n play mod and like mentioned above your money would be well spent else were on the car honestly or just pony up a few more dollars and get a florida 5.0 cluster then you'll get laid |
