Just ordered my TFS Heads and Cam!!!

Just ordered my Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads and cam!

This is gonna be a good summer. So far I need to install the Control Arms, Subframe connectors, G-Trac brace, rear discs, and port the lower intake. Now I get the fun of installing even more go fast goodies.

I wonder how the Nitto's will hold up?

Once the snow melts and I get everything done, I'll feed you all some 1/4 mile times.

I've only ever heard good things about them from you and others on this site, so I figured what the heck. Now I can really start to get this thing making some power. I can't wait until the dragstrip opens!

Which heads and what cam did you decide to go with? The reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking about the Trick Flow top end kit but cant really decide if that is what will serve me best or would I be better of piecing my own Trick Flow parts (heads, cam, upper & lower intake, etc)together for my own combonation. Any suggestions would be great.

I ordered the TFS-51400004, TFS roller rockers, and a Stage 2 camshaft. I didn't order the kit because I have a KB blower which is sitting on my stock lower intake. I'll be porting the crap out of that when I rip the motors top-end off.

Next up will be the 90mm MAF, 70mm TB, 42# injectors, an 8-9psi pulley and one hell of a good tune by Steeda.

What about push rods, lifters, timing chain and piston heads? Is all of that necessary? I called Summit and they told me that I had to use the trick flow piston heads with the trick flow heads which is another $600. Would you go ahead and change the connecting rods at the same time? Would you happen to know the part # for the cam, I don't know which one is the stage 2? Thanks for your help!

Yeah - getting the lifters, pushrods, rockers, blah blah and all that jazz as well. I just named the big stuff. I won't be changing the rods. When this motor blows up, I'll scavenge all the goodies I got off of it, and build a 347 Stroker with my blower sitting on top.

The Stage 2 is the second cam on the chart.

They just came in!! As soon as it warms up here, they'll be going on. Big question: Since I have the KB blower already, I think I will need to upgrade my injectors. Anybody running similar setups please comment. If I need to change I'll go 42# with 90MM MAF. Will the stock 19# handle ~400 ponies?

Sounds like a sweet set up. As far as injectors, 42s# and either an SCT or P-mas meter. I would also check out this guy for porting your stock lower. Good prices and he really knows how to get those things flowing. http://www.tmossporting.com/
You should be anywhere from 425rwhp and up. good luck w/ it
