Long Tubes?


i have a 86 gt with a 347 and novi 2000 charger.. right now im making 500 to the wheels.. i have shorty headers tho.. would long tubes make a big difference? thanks

I switched to longtubes and the only problem I have is heat on the starter
I had to wrap the starter and I wrapped the headers.

Well, superchargers hate backpressure more then anything.

Consider this, you are pumping a very large volume of air into the engine via the supercharger. When that large amount of air becomes superheated, the volume of that air is considerably increased.
