I'd spend the extra $40 and get ones with the seat bracing.

Yep. You can save some money going with the bare steel ones rather than the powdercoated, but if you go that route get them installed and painted quick or they'll surface rust something fierce.

MM or Steeda's... Steeda actually fit better or needed less effort or install I should say

<rant on>
The reason I suggest MM/Griggs/Steeda over any other SFCs is that these companies actually RACE cars with the parts they make. They're not selling parts just to make money, they're selling the parts they use on their cars to make money to keep racing. In this particular case, if the SFCs aren't rigid enough, they'll find ways to increase that rigidity. If they're too heavy, they'll find ways to try and shed weight out of them. Either way, their goal is performance first. An SFC is a pretty easy thing to develop if all you care about is that it mostly fits. Just by welding, or even bolting on, a peice of metal the connects the subframes you're going to see SOME increase in stiffness. I just don't understand why anyone would go through the time and expense of ordering and permanently installing a part on their car that their only reason for choosing was price (especially when leaving it alone is free). Maybe I'm weird in that I leave things stock rather than installing something aftermarket, just for the sake of having it </rant>
