Alignment settings

I am trying to find out the correct alignment settings for my 93 Notch with a front K-Member, coil-over kit, caster camber plates and a tie rod bump steer kit? I have been told that there is a "performance setting" Is that true and if so does anyone know what the settings are. I know with all the aftermarket parts I have on the front end the suspension geometry is different... So it would make sense that the settings would be different.. I dont want to have to buy new front tires every 5-7000 miles cuz of uneven wear or chopping..

If I were you, find a good tire shop, ie Tires Plus, Expert Tire, Firestone, etc and tell them what you have. My last car, I replaced all the suspension with aftermarket and lowered it with larger wheels. Told the tech I wanted just a hint of negative camber for cornering stability. He dialed it in PERFECTLY!! I pulled over 1G on a 300ft skid after the upgrades. In a FF Import nontheless. As far as having the factory or OEM specs, any shop can find that. Unless you are doing the alignment yourself, let them do the work.

Can't say I blame ya on the tire wear issue. That shit sucks.

I dont feel comfortable taking advice from a tire shop that does not do custom alignments. I prefer getting it from someone who knows Mustangs. I will not be doin any hard cornering. It is a street car but I only drag race with it.. Thanks though..

I realize that your car and my old one are like daylight and bananas, lol, but I had GREAT results with Tires Plus.

Gimme a lil bit and I'll see what I can find for ya.

So I don't fuck it all up, will your OEM specs still hold true w/ all the aftermarket suspension upgrades? Ie; tow, caster, camber, bump stop height, etc.?

I dont have a Tires plus where I live.. As far as the settings go I dont know if they do. I think with the caster camber plates you want at least 3 degrees of caster or as much as you can get out of it... Other than that I dont know..

Here's a common theme I've found on the Net:

The MM Instructions for their K-Member state: Alignment recommendations when using the MM K-
member: For street driven cars, set caster at 6 degrees
positive; camber at ¾ degree negative; toe-in set to a total
of 1/16".
