UPR for the stiff stuff.

M/T drag radials are a great tire choice.

+1 To you get what you pay for! You will be fine running UPR U/L's though... there are alot of people who run their suspension on 10 second cars all day long. I just wont buy their products becuase when I think of UPR I think of billet internerior pieces... just something that I have stuck in my head, dont know if I could buy from them personally but alot of people do with no problems. I guess its just a piece of mind kind of thing. I stick w/ all MM & D&D. Expensive but hopefully worth it! Well see in a few weeks, I have a TON of suspension to install.

While UPR isn't quite as expensive as M&M or D&D, I believe they hold their own against anyone that is around the same price. And I've seen both M&M kits and UPR kits installed on cars and the only difference I see Is $$$$$.

I went ahead and purchased the control arms from UPR and installed them Saturday and it was well worth the time and effort, now just waiting on the 3.55 gears to get here from Summit and have them installed this weekend, hopefully the control arms will help put what power I have to the road!!!

How do you like the KYB shocks and struts? are they adjustable? The reason I ask, I'm trying to decide between the $235, Tokico HP's (non adjustable) and the $390 KYB AGX (adjustable) Whats better in your opinion?

Do yourself a favor and do a comparison with the stock 5 liter springs and the drag springs some day at the track. You might be suprised.

I have the Eibach drag springs in the rear with Dugan racing upper and lower arms.. Hey Darrell what did you find out about the stock springs? You dont think the drag springs with the RR air bag works well?

No I don't. Team Z, Skinny Kid and Wolfe all told me the same thing. Run the stock GT springs and throw the drag springs in the garbage.

I doubt you need subframes to hook.

Good adujustable shocks / struts will help. Depends how much you want to put in your suspension - complete overhaul, coil overs, or just enough to hook?

If you just want to hook up better, get the control arms. If you spend a lot of time launching hard, look into the adjustables - but I may wait to do that a little bit longer on down the road once you see how the control arms help.

I know this is an older thread but had some questions on this. Are the GT springs any different than the LX springs?

Stick with a simple bolt in set like the Summit or BBK control arms or the UPR control arms pictured in the previous post.
