Suspension and traction
I'm looking to upgrade the rear upper and lower conrol arms and also the front a arms. This is a 93 vert LX, (mostly street, track every now and again) I have put a set of steeda subframe connectors on it and that's all as far as suspension. I'm also getting ready to have a set of 3.55 gears installed March 10th. I'm not looking for a strictly race setup, just some good all around upgrades for the suspension. Any help would be appreciated and also reccomended manufacturers. Thanks for your help and advise.

Rear upper and lower control arms will be helpfull. Since your car is primarily a street car I would just get a set of BBK or cheap Summit Racing uppers and lowers. They are solid which will not flex and they have polyurethane bushings which are stiff but not as stiff as metal so they won't make noise.

As far as budget, I wouldn't want to spend more than $400-$500

IMO, Eibach ProKit Springs for a car that is, say 75% street. Any more track than that, go w/ their Drag Springs

Lakwood is pretty much middle of the road. I have used their products in the past on mini trucks...

Stick with a simple bolt in set like the Summit or BBK control arms or the UPR control arms pictured in the previous post.

Yeah, they do. My ex has 'em on her car and I was gonna snag a set for my fox, but went w/ the Pro's instead

Darrell are those control arms just as good as maximum motorsports or a cheap knock off that aren't as good quality wise....

I have heard of the Granetelli ones failing, so I was just wondering if the cheaper control arms have a similar problem

Its been said before and it shall be said again; In the aitomotive world, you DO get what you pay for.

I'm not saying there aren't "cheap" ones, but as long as they don't snap in half, they do everything the most expensive control arm does (unless one is adjustable; in that case, be quiet). So what the hell is the difference?

On suspension & chassis componenets, I have seen many a manufacturer try to "multi-task" and their product may offer many features that another may not, but because they are relatively new to that particular genre, they have some trial and error to work out.
Granatelli makes great electronics. Monroe makes great shocks and struts. Aeromotive make great fuel delivery products. UPR makes great chassis stuff. TRW is the granddaddy of all chassis stuff. I have sold all those named above and once in a while, it works out, but in my exp., stick w/ the manufacturer that got its name making that product. I am not dispelling any of their ability to make a great product, just my 2 cents
